Overview

The Team Lead – Collections will be responsible for overseeing the collections team, ensuring effective recovery of outstanding debts while maintaining strong customer relationships. The role involves managing collection strategies, supervising team performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the collections team, ensuring targets for debt recovery are met.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to improve recovery rates.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs, call reviews, and performance reports.
  • Handle escalated delinquent accounts and negotiate repayment arrangements with customers.
  • Ensure all collection activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare and present collection performance reports to management.
  • Train, mentor, and coach collection officers to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with risk, operations, and customer service teams to resolve account issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all collection activities.
