Accountant

Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc/HND) in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in hospitality/hotel/restaurant accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and reporting standards. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication and integrity in handling financial data.

Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, accounts payable and receivable. Process payroll, statutory deductions, and vendor payments. Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow. Assist in month-end and year-end closings. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows). Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis. Support audit processes and compliance (including tax remittances). Collaborate with other departments (operations, front office, F&B) for financial insights. Identify inefficiencies, recommend cost-saving measures. Implement and uphold internal controls and financial policies.
