Eligibility Criteria Open to new international students starting full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes in September 2026. Applicants must be first-time entrants in September 2026. Must have been offered and accepted a place on a full-time award-bearing University of Hertfordshire programme. Students must pay the full tuition fee from their own resources directly to the University of Hertfordshire. Fees must not be discounted or sponsored by the university or any external organisation (e.g., employer, charity, government). Contributions from family or towards living costs do not count as sponsorship. Scholarship Value Awards range from £500 to £4,000 depending on academic performance, English language ability, personal statement quality, and personal circumstances. Exclusions Not available for: Pre-sessional English courses Research degrees Hertfordshire International College (HIC) or online courses University of Hertfordshire or HIC graduates Preparatory programmes Additional Conditions The scholarship is applied after registration and is not deducted from the deposit. Cannot be combined with the following scholarships unless exceptionally approved: Super Early Bird Scholarship 20% Herts Graduate Scholarship MBBS Scholarship UG Tri Annual Scholarship Can be combined with the Full Payment Discount if tuition fees are paid in full by 12 October 2026. If tuition fees are already fully paid, the scholarship may be applied towards university accommodation costs (excluding the refundable £150 accommodation deposit). If a student withdraws (whether initiated by the student or university), all full payment discounts will be removed, and other scholarships will be adjusted on a pro rata basis according to fee liability dates.
