Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (Fintech)

Locations: South-South / South-East

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in fintech and digital payments.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition, overseeing sales operations, and managing a large sales force (200+ officers) across the South-South or South-East region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 200+ field sales officers to achieve merchant onboarding and revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive growth and market penetration.
  • Ensure efficient onboarding of merchants onto the company’s fintech/payment platforms.
  • Monitor, track, and report on sales performance across the region.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for sales officers and team leads.
  • Foster strong relationships with merchants, agents, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, risk, etc.) to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 – 10 years’ experience in sales management, with at least 3 years in fintech,or payments industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large, high-performing field sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of merchant onboarding and digital payment solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Must be resident in or familiar with the South-South or South-East region.
