Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (Fintech)

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in fintech and digital payments.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition, overseeing sales operations, and managing a large sales force (200+ officers) across the South-South or South-East region.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 200+ field sales officers to achieve merchant onboarding and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive growth and market penetration.
- Ensure efficient onboarding of merchants onto the company’s fintech/payment platforms.
- Monitor, track, and report on sales performance across the region.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for sales officers and team leads.
- Foster strong relationships with merchants, agents, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, risk, etc.) to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 7 – 10 years’ experience in sales management, with at least 3 years in fintech,or payments industry.
- Proven track record of managing large, high-performing field sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of merchant onboarding and digital payment solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Must be resident in or familiar with the South-South or South-East region.
