Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• The Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing and supporting our network systems to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our network infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure high availability.
• Implement and manage network security protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support server and application performance through effective network management.
• Network Design & Implementation: Design, implement, and optimize robust network architectures that meet organizational needs
• Conduct regular network assessments and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and policies for compliance and training purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues to maintain seamless connectivity.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend enhancements
• Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.

Qualifications

• First Degree or equivalent in relevance to computer science
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years experience in the role
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and security solutions.
• Proficient in the use of applications
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server OS
• This Job role is for residents in Abuja.

Remuneration

• N200,000 – N250,000 (Net)
• Transport Allowance – N20,000
• Data Allowance – N6,000
• Feeding is provided.
