Job Title: Cybersecurity Instructor

Job Summary

• The Cybersecurity Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and hands-on training in cybersecurity concepts, tools, and practices to students or professionals. The role includes curriculum development, student mentorship, and staying updated with industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons on cybersecurity topics such as network security, ethical hacking, threat analysis, penetration testing, risk management, and compliance.
• Develop and update training materials, lab exercises, presentations, and course content.
• Guide students through practical exercises using real-world cybersecurity tools and environments.
• Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and hands-on projects.
• Stay current with new cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Provide one-on-one support and mentorship to students to help them succeed.
• Participate in curriculum reviews and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to enhance training delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and ethical hacking tools.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with virtual labs or cybersecurity simulation tools is an advantage.
• Teaching or training experience is a plus.
