Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ketu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances.
• Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions and produce detailed reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger accounts.
• Support the finance team in budget preparation & financial forecasting.
• Handle accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• BSc/ HND degree in Accounting
• Skills Level ICAN qualification or Accounting Technicians Certificate (ATS) is a key requirement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Experience with Accounting softwares like Quickbooks, Peachtree and SAGE.
• Proficiency in preparing financial records, including extracting Trial Balance, Income Statements, and Balance Sheets.
• Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good Organizational & Time management skill
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
