Since its incorporation the company has grown in leaps and bound, expanding its business horizon but still within the Oil and Gas sector. ABNL Limited Job Recruitment (6 Positions)

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Construction Site Lead III

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Main Function

  • Lead Site Safety
  • Lead company site team (as assigned) for completion of construction activities in accordance with project objectives, priorities, and contract specifications
  • Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned
  • Oversee the execution of fabrication, construction, and hookup
  • Coordinate activities of site safety, technical, and quality inspection personnel
  • Determine if corrective actions are needed in order to meet project objectives, and work to have these implemented
  • Coordinate site interfaces between contractors (and subcontractors) with Production Operations, Drilling, and other ongoing projects as applicable
  • Report progress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to Construction Site Manager or Project Manager as appropriate

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead/assist in preparation and development of construction planning deliverables (PreCheck
  • Point 2)
  • Interface with contractor on a day to day basis
  • Provide input in the review and development of contractor’s detailed plans and procedures
  • Monitor and appraise contractor’s performance and recommend corrective action to be taken where deficiencies are detected; verify actions are taken
  • Coordinate resolution of construction related issues with guidance from supervisor
  • Establish, implement, and maintain verification process for mechanical completion
  • Utilize best practices, Comes, and other current Construction systems/tools
  • Ensure appropriate materials management system is implemented at site
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel regarding planning and implementation of fabrication, construction, and mechanical completion activities
  • Participate in company’s learned reviews and provide input to close-out report sections upon completion of work
  • Ensure execution of the contract is in compliance with contract specifications
  • Ensure change requests are in accordance with Management of Change Plan
  • Provide input to appraisal process for assigned site personnel
  • Manage the project business services and contracting and materials management organization and functional interfaces through the Execution Stage

Requirements

  • Experience in-field Construction planning, execution, and completions
  • Prior site experience
  • BSc in Engineering, Construction Management, or Technical degree
  • Willing to travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites.
  • Past Construction Site Lead experience on major capital project

2.) Systems Completion Engineer / Specialist III

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Main Function

  • The Systems Completion Engineer / Specialist is accountable for the engineering activity covering planning, program generation and execution of completion operations within the wells team.
  • Owns the Systems Completion Process.

Responsibilities
In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3:

  • Provide overall Systems Completion leadership and expertise, including all matters related to commissioning and turnover/systems acceptance. Also, provides engineering definition and planning to support mechanical completion.
  • Collaborates with Operations/EPC Contractor to ensure a safe and effective execution of Systems Completion activities and to ensure all Systems Completion contract requirements are met
  • Manages Systems Completion interfaces between PMT and EPC Contractor to facilitate successful commissioning and hand-over
  • Provides assistance to EPC Contractor for utilization of a computerized Completion Management System for tracking, certification and quality purposes
  • Applies Systems Completion lessons learned from previous projects
  • Collaborates with and supports the start-up team to achieve a successful turnover, startup and acceptance by Operations
  • Assist PMT in meeting Clients expectations as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good supervisory skills and ability to work within a team
  • Project Systems Completion/commissioning experience with offshore facilities.
  • Worldwide experience with Contractors, in particular those involved in the construction of offshore facilities
  • Prior experience interfacing with Offshore Operational department.

3.) Inventory Control Analyst II

Location: Onne, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract
Work Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days Off

Responsibilities

  • Schedules and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers.
  • Analyzes inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Duties may include writing inventory reports, performing cycle counts, and determining periodic asset valuations.
  • Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable in the position.
  • Senior Inventory Control Analyst might be performing basic inventory decisions and analysis of high complexity.
  • Scope of Work specific to this Assignment: Warehouse Operations, amongst others.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree, with 8 – 22 years of excellent work experience.
  • MS Excel, ERP experience, organised.

4.) Petroleum Engineer III

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract ABNL Limited Job Recruitment (6 Positions)

Main Functions

  • Petroleum Engineers are involved in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas.
  • They provide specialty expertise in oil and gas drilling and completions, reservoir management and production. Roles vary depending on the operating environment (e.g., land or offshore).

Task and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring proper implementation of established reservoir management strategies and surveillance plans including short-term adjustments to cater for operational constraints without compromising longer-term reservoir recovery.
  • Ensuring that wellbore hydraulic models are accurate, up to date and accessible to Asset Level Team (ALT) technical staff via defined repositories/locations.
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to identify, execute opportunities and optimize well performance.
  • Identifying, validating, analysing and uploading pressure data including clarification/validation of Pressure-Volume-Temperature (PVT) assumptions for fluid density, downhole parameters and determination of missing parameters when required.
  • Recognized as a leader or expert
  • Interprets & incorporates industry info and advances
  • Sound knowledge of other skills & able to apply in several areas
  • Responsible for resolving entire complex problems.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering.
  • Experience in the upstream / petrochemical / chemical / refinery or a similar industry
  • Knowledge of petroleum engineering operations and production methods for oil and natural gas recovery
  • Knowledgeable of Reservoir surveillance/modelling, wellbore performance modelling or practical reservoir pressure application such as field surveillance and optimization
  • Understanding of Production/Well optimization and Artificial Lift system and technology via practical experiences in troubleshooting/diagnostic/optimizing well performance
  • Familiar with Reservoir surveillance, production or hydraulic modelling tools/applications, particularly Integrated Production Modelling (IPM) suite of applications
  • Familiarity Pressure analysis tools/applications, e.g. Kappa Suite of Applications
  • Able to work independently in all situations within range of technical expertise.
  • Recognized as a technical expert in one or more categories.
  • Also recognized for their business understanding and history of continuous high value contributions.
  • Applies innovation broadly.

  • The Technology Specialist position is a senior plastics process technical professional that provides overall technology direction and guidance to Company’s Plastics Process Technology organization.
  • They are experienced engineers and scientists that provide strategic, cross-functional and industry leadership that impacts identification of Plastics business opportunities, development of technology to address business needs, and application of new or existing technology to advance the general interest.
  • The Technology Specialist is responsible for development and retention of knowledge leading to competitive advantage for Plastics production in their assigned area.

Task and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level 1 and 2 Tasks and Responsibilities, a Level 3 Technology Specialists will:

  • Identifies areas for generating competitive advantage through technology development and implementation and obtains business management support
  • Identifies opportunities for generating competitive advantage through improved plant operation and obtains management support for implementation
  • Provides guidance in Polymers Process Technology to major venture project development teams
  • Ensures the Plastics Process Technology knowledge is being maintained, advanced and utilized
  • Provides guidance/coaching for Plastics Process Engineers

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a closely related position
  • PhD in Engineering required

Main Functions

  • Broadly experienced engineers who provide strategic, cross-functional and industry leadership that impacts identification of business opportunities, development of technology to address business needs, and application of new or existing technology to advance the general interest.
  • Development of other technical leaders within their primary engineering discipline.
  • Sphere of Influence (across multiple areas where individual has technical and business expertise):
    • Internal: Global Upstream
    • External: Lead / play a key role in interactions with key project and producing asset partners, competitors, joint ventures, NOCs, industry associations, academia, industry forums such as conferences, and government agencies.

Task and Responsibilities

  • Technical leadership across multiple projects and/or global producing operations.
  • Champion business opportunities they are uniquely qualified to lead, and build expertise in others within those areas of strength. Engage internally across all levels, and externally to further Company’s business objectives, with particular emphasis in the technical areas for which the individual has become well known.

  • Demonstrate authority in your field through influence in Company (EM) operating units, projects and external technical community.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience with 12-26 yers experience

  • Expected to have a broad skill set and advanced proficiency in the following skill areas: Wellbore Hydraulics, Well Performance, Completion Design, Workover Design, Fluid Flow & Hydraulics, Operations Support and Surveillance, Artificial Lift, Subsurface Equipment, Wellheads, Trees & Surface Equipment, Wellwork Units, Surveillance & Optimization, Maintenance & Reliability System, Opportunity Generation & Reservoir
  • Surveillance & Optimization, Well Surveillance and Well Performance, Capacity Enhancement and Operations Support and Surveillance.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
