We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Retail SME Officer

Locations: Abuja, Sokoto, and Jigawa

Deadline: 9th September, 2025.

Job Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are recruiting motivated and results-driven professionals to join our Retail SME Banking team in Abuja, Sokoto, and Jigawa.
  • Successful candidates will be responsible for building strong SME relationships, driving customer acquisition, and delivering growth in lending, deposits, and other retail SME products.

Responsibilities

  • Source, acquire, and manage SME and retail business customers in assigned markets.
  • Drive growth in loan portfolios, deposits, and revenue-generating products.
  • Conduct credit analysis, prepare proposals, and ensure portfolio quality.
  • Cross-sell retail SME products (lending, deposits, payments, trade finance).
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Support branch performance through business development initiatives and market engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management policies.

Requirements

  • First Degree in any Business-related discipline (Master’s/professional qualification is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5–7 years’ relevant experience in SME or retail banking, credit, or financial services marketing.
  • Strong understanding of SME markets in Abuja, Sokoto, or Jigawa.
  • Proven track record in sales, relationship management, and portfolio growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and credit analysis skills.

2.) Branch Manager, Retail Sales

Locations: Nasarawa, Benue, Gombe, Adamawa & Minna – Niger
Job type: Full-time (On-site)

About the Job

  • We are seeking experienced Branch Managers to lead retail banking (sales) in our branches across Nasarawa, Benue, Gombe, Adamawa, Niger, and Potiskum.
  • The successful candidates will drive business growth, build strong customer relationships, and manage high-performing teams in these regions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail customers.
  • Market and cross-sell the bank’s retail products and services.
  • Drive branch sales and deposit growth through effective marketing strategies.
  • Supervise and coach account officers to achieve business goals.
  • Implement call plans, track customer needs, and deliver excellent service.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, ensuring compliance and quality reporting.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and generate referrals

Requirements

  • A first degree in a Business-related discipline (Master’s/professional certification is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years in retail services/marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian retail banking market and banking operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and reporting
