Job Title: Chef / Cook
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary
- This position is responsible for preparing high-quality meals while ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.
- The Chef will oversee kitchen operations, maintain consistency in food presentation, manage inventory, and collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Key Tasks
- Prepare and cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company expectations.
- Monitor kitchen stock levels, minimize waste, and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and restaurant management to develop new menu items.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is clean, maintained, and used properly.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Assist in cost control measures by optimizing ingredient usage and portion sizes.
- Address customer feedback related to food quality and presentation.
Qualification, Knowledge & Experience
- Culinary Diploma or relevant professional certification preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in a kitchen, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with kitchen inventory management and cost control.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Salary
N300,000 Monthly.
